Apple's iOS has been competing itself setting new milestones every time they compete against itself. iOS is the most secure mobile operating system with over 3- billion download mark. When it comes to developers revenue, Apple has paid over $5 billion to developers of the iOS apps. Apple's iOS AppStorehas the highest number of applications and games with over 650,000 apps available, out of which 225,000 are designed for iPad. Tim Cook had earlier promised during WWDC 2012 that Apple would be launching AppStore globally by adding support for 32 countries. The AppStore is now available in a total of 155 countries. It is estimated that Apple's launch in 32 additional countries will add additional 400 million users that would be accessing AppStore to purchase applications using credit cards. If we observe the stats and growth of Apple's iOS, the growth is remarkable with over 365,000 devices sold until march 2012. If compared Android users, 80% of iOS users run the most latest operating system i.e iOS5 where as only 7% of Android users have ice cream sandwich which is the latest version.
