When you save the map, you get a unique URL for your map. The tool offers a great possibility to build a mind map collaboratively. Inkflow is the perfect app for people like me who like to sketch out their ideas before sharing them in presentations, in writing, or in video productions. Inkflow is also great for people who like to take notes in a free-hand format in which they can easily include little sketches and diagrams along with their written words.

Keeping the idea flowing can be really more difficult than it sounds. We get easily distracted, and the chain of thoughts will be lost forever. It would help to write them down but more often than not they are just abstract notions in our heads. Beyond a point things get complicated and even you can’t understand what is in there.

I've tried it. It works exactly as one would expect a plain and basic tool to work. It is not suitable for elaborate mind maps or diagrams but for young students it may work fine.

the importance of icons and symbols in "mind maps" or outlines, webs, anything like that. symbols can have a much broader meaning and definition, bringing ideas and memories up quicker than a vague word or phrase.
