Guide to Virtual Reality in Higher Education

Guide to Virtual Reality in Higher Education | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
Every year, software developers and engineers work tirelessly to make and design new tech that can be used to improve and enhance the educational world. Without most learners and educators even realizing it, education has advanced rapidly and extraordinarily in the past couple of years.

One instance of this is how virtual reality has been integrated into most higher education institutions. There are lots of benefits to this advancement in tech. For example, it provides learners with a much more enhanced learning opportunity. In this piece, we will be examining everything that there is to know about VR, including how it is used in higher education.

Exploring Virtual Reality learning experiences in the classroom

Exploring Virtual Reality learning experiences in the classroom | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
With the start of a new year, it is always a great time to explore new ideas or try some new methods that may be a bit different from what we have traditionally done. I always think it is a great opportunity to stretch ourselves professionally, especially after a break or during the spring months.

Finding ways to boost student engagement is important, and what I have found is that by using tools like Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), we can immerse students in unique and personalized learning experiences.

What If Our Only Solution to the Teacher Shortage is the Metaverse?

What If Our Only Solution to the Teacher Shortage is the Metaverse? | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
Call me crazy. Some do. I prefer to think of myself as a forward-thinking realist. I’ve been pondering this question: What if the resignation of teachers all across the land leads us to AI and the metaverse as the only solution? What if no one wants to teach anymore? What if it’s easier to craft computer programs just to teach what we want students to know? What if an algorithm is just simpler?
