Skuuppilehdet's insight:
Scallops are a very popular seafood delicacy that can be found in all of the oceans and are a prized food source, plump and delectable. Being very low in fat, these meaty mollusks are delicious prepared in a variety of ways...sauteed, deep fried or in celebration on this day, baked! Baking them doesn't require much of the butter and fat that otherwise go into cooking this lean, white seafood.
