The Chief Executive of Utilita, Bob Bullen, has spoken out, suggesting that pre-payment meter customers are already disconnecting themselves from the network rather than continue heating their homes.
At this time of year, typically 2-3% of customers choose to disconnect; at the moment, this is around 5% today.
