Is this really the best the Treasury can do?
Apparently, we should welcome Brexit because of the return of duty-free purchases of cigarettes and alcohol. I'd have thought that the prospect of completely free trade with the EU would result in lower prices for the average consumer.
And what about the Brexit dividend. Surely £350m per week for the NHS outweighs the £2.23 less than you'd pay for a bottle of duty free wine.
