2010 was an exiting year with lots of funny events. In the end of the year I had so much things to do that it was almost impossible to keep up with the updates here at Presets Heaven. 2011 is going to be even better so lets start this year by presenting a new presets contribution.Laura from “pretty presets” sent me 4 of her own presets that she would love to share with you. They are Autumn, Pretty Presets Brown, Silver Lining and Soft Color Pop. To best describe them she also attached some before/after images for your convenience. I hope you like them!
Lightroom presets can really give you a headstart on tweaking the look of your images, and in some cases even changing the mood. There are tons of presets around for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and Digital Photo Buzz (DPB) has some decent samples.
Hi all! Here’s two great presets that Brant Smith submitted to share with the rest of you. He calls them Faded film look and if you have a peek at the preview images below I think you understand why. I like the way they creates a vintage feeling.
Hi all! I hope you’re having a great summer wherever you are. I got a preset submitted by mail from Darya recently. It’s a black and white preset called “Historian” that makes your photos look like if they’re taken with an old camera.Try it out!
Hi all followers and Lightoom Lovers! It’s time to deliver again! This time Dustin Leader is the contributor. Dustin has helped us out before with some nice presets. This time he sent us a preset called “Magic Hour Power”.
Sharing is caring and I love it. Especially when I get so nice feedback from all of you. When I’m happy I become creative, so today I felt I just had to make a new preset for you. I started without a clue on what effect it would create. After some photo browsing through my library, I found some photos that really needed to be adjusted. They were to dark from my point of view… This preset basically brightens up your underexposed images, adds a little yellow tone to the white areas and finally reduces some noise. It only works good on photos that are underexposed allover the image. (note: The preset is made in Lightroom 3)

Today’s presets come to you from, well, the weather. Not that we have it bad here in Tampa, Florida. It’s actually refreshingly cool out so I always enjoy this time of year. But we’ve had our share of cold (relatively that is) here, and from watching some football yesterday, so has the rest of the country. Anyway, I was working with some ideas on making a photo look “cold” and this preset is what I ended up with. As always, this is a starting point. There’s 3 different versions from light to strong. You’ll probably want to tweak the settings after. For example, if you start out with a really warm photo then you may need to adjust the white balance to something even cooler. I’ve even included a fairly warm landscape photo to show you (in the sample below), that it even gives sunny warm photos a cold feeling. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think.
If you're looking for free Lightroom Presets, here's one that I hope you will enjoy. This is my Ultra Black & White Preset for Lightroom 4. I grew up shooting black and white film, which made this
"I just checked out the stats for all downloads you guys do here :-) We got some amazing numbers for some of the available presets here. Today we have delivered over 3.256900 downloads!!! Remember that the number doesn’t count each file that are included in the compressed files! In March earlier this year we published a similar top 5 list. Now we’ve picked out the top five most downloaded presets in our history once again. I thought you might be interested in them so here they are , together with the number of downloads for each…"
Hi all readers, fans and Lightroom lovers! Here comes another preset made by request, from Ole at our Facebook page. This is the story behind it… Each camera has one or more profiles that controls the colors etc.
Once again we have a new great contribution of Lightroom presets! This time William, a wedding & portrait photographer from Maryland, has sent us a great set of presets. I let him explain them himself:
“I thought I’d send in some presets that we use here in the studio all the time. There are three sets.”
